Global Warming: Early Warning Signs
The Earth is heating up. The early warning signs of global climate change
are in -- heat waves and warmer weather, spreading disease, earlier spring
arrival, plant and animal range shifts and population declines, sea level rise
and coastal flooding, coral reef bleaching, glaciers melting, Arctic and
Antarctic warming, downpours, heavy snowfalls, and flooding, droughts and fires.

The primary focus of the Community Learning Network (CLN) is to help K-12
teachers integrate Information Technology into their classrooms. This CLN menu
page provides links to environmental studies curricular resources and
instructional materials (lesson plans) in the specific topic of global warming

The Atlas of Canada - Climate Change
Over the past 150 years, abundant scientific data has demonstrated that
the earth's climate has become warmer, and that the warming has been
accelerating over the past two decades. This change in the climate has become a
global issue of concern. This map series aims to provide policy makers,
researchers and the general public with a geographical perspective to climate
change. The series also attempts to integrate human activities and the
environment, and links science and government policy.
