Dear Steven Georganas,
I am concerned about legislation, to be in Parliament this month, which
will put many single parents and people with disabilities on lower
payments.
It is reasonable to encourage people on payments
into the workforce but I do not support this move to lower the incomes
of disadvantaged Australians.
Rather
than punishment, jobless people need training, advice and support to get
ready for work.
Please
take this opportunity to amend the legislation and help people who are
struggling to make ends meet in our electorate.
Kind Regards,
Antonios Symeonakis
